A popular feature of this gas fire is the option to have the interior side panels in chrome. This reflects the flames and glowing fuel bed to give the impression of a much wider fire. The Gem is designed to fit into a standard fireplace opening and with a full depth fuel bed of 230mm, it is compatible for Class 1 (full chimney) or Class 2 5" Pre-Fabricated flues subject to adequate recess depth being available.
 
The standard control option is manual with the controls discreetly located at the bottom of the fire behind the fret drawer. A popular upgrade is the Slide Control version with a lever on the top, right hand side of fire trim that when pressed down ignites the fire and moving the lever up or down then adjusts the flame height. For those wanting the ultimate in luxury, a fully sequential Remote Control option is also offered.
